Mani Ratnam approaches this mass hero to replace Dulquer Salmaan in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thug Life’?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam’s epic action film, ‘Thug Life’, commenced shooting in January. This project was announced to have a plethora of stars on board including Dulquer Salmaan. But he opted out of this movie recently due to date issues.

If the reports are to be believed, Atman Simbu is in talks to replace Dulquer’s role in ‘Thug Life’. Dulquer Salmaan was to play the role of a collector. Now, Silambarasan TR is likely to take up this role. An official confirmation will be made if STR says yes. Notably, Simbu is already doing ‘STR 48’ under Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films.

This news is doing rounds on the internet. On the other hand, the Thug Life team is now back in Chennai. The shoot involving Kamal Haasan in Serbia has now been put on hold due to the actor’s political commitments over the upcoming parliament elections. This movie stars Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Nassar, Abhirami and others.
