What happened to ‘Marmadesam’ maker Naga? Family puts an end to rumours

Naga is a prolific maker known for his blockbuster serials in the Tamil television space. He is known for directing ‘Marmadesam’, ‘Chidambara Ragasiyam’ and ‘Yaamirukka Bayamen’ in the late 1990s. Naga debuted in the film industry as a director with the 2010 film ‘Anandhapurathu Veedu’ under director Shankar’s production.

The 70-year-old maker is now working on a new web series. Meanwhile, reports recently broke out that Naga has passed away but his family has denied the death reports completely. The official statement reads, “The news about the death of director Naga is a baseless rumour. He had an Open Heart surgery day before yesterday and is out of danger now. He is totally doing well now.”

It is worth mentioning that ‘Marma Desam: Vidathu Karuppu’ is one of the most-favourite shows for the 90s kids.
