Actor Kiran Abbavaram Critiques Excessive Violence in ‘Margo’ Film

Telugu actor Kiran Abbavaram revealed that he couldn’t watch the movie ‘Marco’.

Speaking about the film, Kiran said, “Due to the high level of violence in ‘Marco’, my wife couldn’t watch it. Even I couldn’t complete the movie, so we left before it ended. Since my wife is pregnant, she found it difficult to handle the violent scenes.”

Many internet users have expressed support for his statement.

Recently, the broadcasting department denied permission for ‘Marco’ to air on television. Additionally, there are recommendations to remove the film from OTT platforms. Due to the controversy, the film’s producer has decided not to make such violent movies in the future.

‘Marco’ was originally released in Malayalam on December 20, 2024, and became a huge success. It was later dubbed and released in other languages. Directed by Hanif Adeni, the film starred Unni Mukundan in the lead role.
