Thalapathy Vijay pays last respects to Manobala in person

Popular comedy actor, director, producer Manobala passed away today at the age of 69 due to a liver ailment.   He is survived by his wife Uma and son Harish.  Thalapathy Vijay who has known Manobala for a long time visited the latter’s residence in Chennai to pay his last respects.

The video that has gone viral on the internet shows a huge crowd gathered in the L.V. Prasad Road in Saligramam where Manobala’s house is situated.  A number of police personnel had to surround Vijay on his entry and exit.  Vijay’s face was crestfallen showing how close he was to the senior actor and how much he missed him. He consoled Manobala’s wife and son.

Earlier director H. Vinoth who made his debut with ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ under Manobala’s production paid his respects.  Lokesh Kanagaraj the director of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ posted his condolence message on Twitter “Heart broken! Rest in peace uncle”.  Several celebrities are continuing to post their heartfelt condolences to the departed soul.
