Dhayanidhi Azhagiri the grandson of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and the son of M.K. Azhagiri made his debut as a producer for the spoof comedy film 'Thamizh Padam' in 2010. He later bankrolled Thala Ajith's massive blockbuster film 'Mankatha' directed by Venkat Prabhu which is considered as one of the best action films ever in Tamil cinema.

Dhayanidhi Azhagiri who is married to Anusha Dhayanidhi already has a son Rudra Dev and recently the couple became parents to their second child who is also a boy. The film producer and owner of the Madurai Super Giants cricket team in TNPL have posted a photo of his newborn and has revealed that his name is Vedanth A Dhayanidhi.

Several celebrities including Arya have congratulated the couple with fans also doing the same on Twitter and other social media pages. It is worth mentioning that Dhayanidhi is a nephew of the current Tami Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin.
