After Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, its Vaanam Kottatum for Maniratnam!

Director Maniratnam had made a superb return to form last year with the action packed gangster drama Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, the multistarrer flick starring Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay , Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, and the movie emerged a commercial success.

Following Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, even as the maker is working on his film adaptation of Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan, he’s all set to produce his next in his Madras Talkies banner, to be directed by his associate Dhanasekaran. Here’s an interesting update on this movie.

It has been speculated that the movie is titled “Vaanam Kottatum”, and stars Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, besides the star couple Radhika and Sarathkumar in pivotal supporting roles.  The film begins shooting in Chennai and Madurai from July.
