Was Manimegali forced to convert to Islam?

Manimegalai VJ is everyone’s favorite when it comes to her anchoring or her social media where she lives life fullest as a girl next door.  She is spending her COVID 19 lockdown time in her husband Hussain’s village and has been sharing some lively videos and photos of the same.  On Ramzan Manimegalai posted a photo of herself and her hubby in traditional Muslim clothes captioned in Tamil “In the past, I used to pester my friends for Biriyani and now they are doing the same to me and its so hilarious”.

A follower of Manimegali in a disrespectful manner commented that Hussain forced her to convert to Islam.  A calm Manimegali has shot back that to celebrate Ramzan one need not convert to Islam and that her husband visits temples with her and she does the same and they live in harmony.  The best thing is she asked the troll to keep his confusions with himself and her reply has received as much appreciation as her original post proving that the majority of people are not divisive in their thoughts but a few are poison minded.

Manimegalai who started anchoring in 2010 has done many successful shows including the recent ‘Kalakkapovathu Yaaru’ and ‘Cook with Comali’.  She was in a long time relationship with Hussain and tried her best to convince her parents who did not approve.  In 2017 the couple decided to tie the knot and registered their marriage and are having a happy time together.
