The makers of the magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ presented us with the powerful second single ‘Chola Chola’ last week. The song, which depicts the glory of the Chola crown prince Aadhitha Karikalan (played by Chiyaan Vikram), was loved by the audience and became a huge success.
Today, the production houses launched the making video of ‘Chola Chola’ music video with BTS clips. The 40-second footage shows Chiyaan Vikram as Aadhitha Karikalan celebrating his battle victory by dancing with his soldiers. Dance master Brindha was spotted choreographing the tremendous actor for the viral song.
The song, composed by AR Rahman, has lyrics by Ilango Krishnan and is crooned by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam and Nakul Abhyankar. On the other hand, the ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ Tamil audio launch is all set to take place at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on September 6 with Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, and Chief Minister MK Stalin as the chief guests.
The Telugu audio launch is said to be on September 8. The team has planned a country-wide tour for promotions. ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is the official adaptation of renowned author Kalki’s epic historical fiction novel of the same name. Produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, ‘Ponniyin Selvan part 1’ is all set to be released on September 30.
