Mamitha Baiju Shines in Tamil Cinema with Vijay Vishnu Vishal Collaboration

In Tamil cinema, different actresses become trending stars in different periods. Currently, Mamitha Baiju is in the spotlight. She initially gained attention in Malayalam cinema with supporting roles in movies like ‘Operation Java’ and ‘Kho-Kho’. However, her performances in ‘Super Sharanya’ and ‘Pranaya Vilasam’ made her a favorite among audiences.

Following these films, the 2023 release ‘Premalu’ brought her massive recognition across Kollywood and Tollywood, turning her into a popular sensation. After the film’s immense success, she has been busy with multiple new projects.

Mamitha made her Tamil cinema debut with ‘Rebel’, starring alongside G.V. Prakash. This film opened doors for her career, landing her a role in Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Jananaayagan’. She described this opportunity as a dream come true. Additionally, Mamitha has also been cast in Vishnu Vishal’s film ‘Irandu Vaanam’, directed by Ramkumar, known for ‘Mundaasupatti’ and ‘Ratsasan’. The majority of the film’s shooting took place in Kodaikanal.

Beyond these projects, Mamitha is also set to star alongside actor Pradeep Ranganathan in another film, though an official announcement has yet to be made. Pradeep subtly hinted at this project in a post-release interview for his movie ‘Dragon’. Additionally, discussions are ongoing about more films in which she might be cast. Official announcements regarding these are expected soon.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated sequel, ‘Premalu 2’, is set to begin filming in June 2024, adding another exciting project to Mamitha’s growing filmography.
