Malavika Mohanan made her acting debut in Tamil in the mega multistarrer 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which she teamed up with Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi and Sasikumar. Her very next film is as the female lead of 'Master' starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi which is one of the most talked-about films of the year set to release on April 9th.

Malavika has signed on to play the heroine in a new Bollywood film with Farhan Akhtar and will join the sets from the first week of April. This will be the second Hindi project for Malavika after 'Beyond the Clouds' directed by celebrated Iranian helmer Majid Majidi in which she played the main role of Tara in 2017. The stunning beauty is also in talks for a couple of mega projects in Tamil and Telugu with top stars as well.
