MGR film on a whopping budget of Rs.160 crores! more details here

It’s a well-known fact that ‘Kizhakku Africavil Raju’ is being made in an animated version. Even the film’s teaser released recently which was adored by fans. Now the hot update is that one more MGR animated film is in the making. 

Word is that the film is being made under a whopping budget of 22 million US dollars which estimates to about Rs.160 crores. Being bankrolled by a Malaysian firm noted director P Vasu is wielding the megaphone. 

Reportedly 5000 photographs of MGR has been researched and taken into consideration for developing the emotions in the animation. Remember the N Face technology which the ‘Fast and the Furious’ team used to shoot after Paul Walker’s death for his portions? The Malaysian company has confirmed the same technology for this exciting project as well for recreating MGR alive on the big screen.

The film is expected to release in multiple languages such as Tamil, English, Malay as well. Sure it would be a visual feast for Makkal Thilagam admirers.
