Mahesh Babu has reportedly undergone knee surgery in the US. He had strained his knee while shooting for ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. When he consulted doctors, they advised him to undergo a minor surgery. He has been advised complete rest for two months.
Those in the know are saying that the ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ superstar has been suffering from knee pain for many years. But since he has been doing films non-stop, he couldn’t undergo surgery as was advised by doctors in the past as well. The pandemic also affected his surgery plans.
If Mahesh doesn’t participate in any shoot for two months, the production works of his next movie might possibly get affected. Or, perhaps, two months is not a luxury. ‘SVP’ was being readied for a January release till recently. It is now coming out in theatres on April 1 next year. So, the makers have ample time. It won’t be a big deal for director Parasuram Petla and the producers to meet the deadline, most probably.
For now, Mahesh’s fans are trending the hashtag #GetWellSoonMaheshAnna to wish him a speedy recovery.
