Breaking! Mahesh Babu announces Telugu-Hindi project

Mahesh Babu is all set to produce a Telugu-Hindi bilingual titled ‘Major’.  Adivi Sesh of ‘Kshanam’ and ‘Goodachari’ will be its main lead.  Sashi Kiran Tikka, who directed ‘Goodachari’, has been roped in to wield the megaphone.

“Honoured to bring you the story of our National hero – Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan,” the ‘Maharshi’ actor, who owns G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd, today said.

Who was Sandeep Unnikrishnan?  “He was an officer in the Indian Army serving in the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. He was martyred in action during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. Unnikrishnan was consequently awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime gallantry award,” says a Wiki post.

So, it’s now official that the film is based on the Operation Tornado launched by our forces to flush out terrorists during the 26/11 attack.

The film will be presented by Sony Pictures Releasing International.  A+S Movies will co-produce it.

It will be a 2020 release.
