Film producer Natarajan, known for his work with leading directors like Mahendran and Bharathiraja, has passed away due to health issues. He produced iconic films such as Rajinikanth’s “Mullum Malarum,” Prabhu’s “Uthama Purushan,” “Raja Kayya Vacha,” “Dharma Seelan,” Sathyaraj’s “Pangali,” Sivaji Ganesan and Prabhu’s “Pasumpon,” Vijayakanth’s “Chinna Gounder,” Jayalalitha’s “Nadhiya Thedi Vandha Kadhal,” and Raghuvaran’s “Kaliyugam.” It is noteworthy that it was under his production that director Mahendran made his debut in Tamil cinema.
For the past few days, Natarajan had been unwell, and he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest last night, leading to his demise. He was 70 years old. His family has announced that the funeral rites will be held this evening. Members of the film fraternity are expressing their condolences for his loss.
