Simran bags an interesting flick!

The top heroine of the late 90s, Simran had made a striking return of sorts after a break, with the recently released superstar Rajinikanth starrer Petta, where she got to pair with him for the first time in her career. Despite having a limited screen space, the movie has worked in favour of her.

Buzz is that Simran had been roped in to play the female lead in Madhavan’s upcoming movie Rocketry – The Nambi effect. Simran and Madhavan were earlier paired in Maniratnam’s Kannathil muthamittal and K.Balachander’s Paarthale Paravasam.

Rocketry The Nambi effect is directed by Ananth Mahadevan and Maddy himself co-directs the movie. Revolving around the life and times of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, the movie will be released in Tamil, English, and Hindi and will have Madhavan in multiple looks.
