R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut made a stunning pair in the sleeper hit romantic comedy 'Tanu Weds Manu released in 2011. They tasted success once again four years later in the sequel 'Tanu Weds Manu Return'. Looks like the popular actors are reuniting for a new pan Indian Tamil film after 8 years.

According to the buzz Manthira Murthy who made his debut with the critically acclaimed 'Ayothi' starring Sasikumar and Preethi Asrani is ready for his sophomore project. He has reportedly approached Kangana Ranaut and Madhavan to play the lead roles and they have apparently given their nod.

The new untitled film will be produced by Trident Arts Ravindran and it is said that the team is currently in finalizing the rest of the cast and crew. The official announcement is expected soon.
