'MAD' was a surprise hit last year, defying expectations with its infectious energy, relatable characters, and entertaining narrative, especially resonating with the youth. Building on that success, the team is returning with its sequel, 'Mad Square.' Retaining the original cast, the filmmakers are promising to amp up the fun and craziness even further.
The first lyrical track, "Laddu Gaani Pelli," has just been released, featuring music by Bheems Ceciroleo, who played a pivotal role in the success of 'MAD' with hits like "College Papa" and "Nuvvu Navvukuntu." This time, he's delivered another Telangana folk-inspired number, borrowing from the popular tune "Maa Lachi Gaani Pelli." The track has been infused with Bheems' signature beats, making it both energetic and electrifying. He also lends his voice to the song, with Mangli matching his energy in the vocals. Kasarla Shyam’s local-flavored lyrics perfectly complement the vibe, and the song is bound to appeal to mass audiences, especially those who love folk tunes.
The video is visually engaging, with Santosh Sobhan once again taking center stage with his infectious energy. Narne Nithin, fresh off his success with 'Aay,' and Ram Nithin also bring a vibrant dynamic to the screen. The dance sequences are packed with energy, and the overall vibe hints at a theatrical treat in the making.
Written and directed once again by Kalyan Shankar, 'Mad Square' is presented by Naga Vamsi and produced by Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya. The film’s technical crew includes Shamdat as the Director of Photography and Navin Nooli as the editor.
With the release of "Laddu Gaani Pelli" raising excitement, fans can expect the teaser, trailer, and more songs to drop soon. The official release date is yet to be announced. Fans are super excited with the film's promotions till now and they are hoping that the film will perform better than the first part giving them wholesome entertainment.
