Simbu begins important work on ‘Maanaadu’ to facilitate earliest release

‘Maanaadu,’ directed by Venkat Prabhu, is one of the most anticipated films in Silambarasan’s career, for which the filming was completed a few months ago. While the film’s postproduction works began earlier this month the latest news is that  Simbu has begun dubbing for his part from Saturday.

“Meherezylaa” the first single, from ‘Maanaadu’, will be released on June 21st and a teaser for the single, titled that released on June 19th has impressed fans.  The teaser released on February 3rd has raised the expectations for the film sky high.

‘Maanaadu’ stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading lady opposite Simbu while SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren, Manoj, and others. The film directed by Venkat Prabhu has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and is produced by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions.

‘Maanaadu’ was supposed to be released on May 14, for Eid, but it was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the latest buzz is that the makers are planning to release the film on October 14, for the Ayudha Pooja weekend, if the theatres are open by then.
