The sci-fi thriller 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Simbu in the lead role has created high expectations amongst fans as well as in the trade. Suresh Kamachi the producer had announced that the film will release on Diwali day.
Today Suresh Kamachi has made it official that 'Maanaadu' is moving away from the Diwali race and will instead release on November 25. He has stated that he is very happy with the way the film has shaped out and has no doubts that it will do well even if released with stiff competition (Rajini's 'Annaathe'). However he has taken the decision keeping in mind various stakeholders such as distributors who may face losses due to less allotment of theaters.
'Maanaadu' has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and comprises the ensemble cast of Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, S.J. Suryah, Karunakaran, Premgi Amaran and Manoj K Bharathi.
