The spellbinding trailer of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ unleashed at Super Bowl 2022!

Amazon Prime takes the viewers back to the magical Second Age of Middle Earth by unleashing the first teaser trailer of its upcoming show, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”, a spin-off to the renowned franchise. LOTR is a series of three epic fantasy adventure films set in the fictional world of middle earth, based on the novel written by JRR Tolkien.

The actual franchise revolves around a hobbit’s quest to destroy the One Ring and its maker to save all the lives in the universe from perishing. Amazon Prime’s spin-off web series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings novels. The show’s first look promo already hinted that more than the One ring existed in the second age.

The minute-long trailer opens with a voice saying, “There’s wonders in this world beyond our wandering. I can feel it.” Then, the video introduces us to its curious characters and the breathtaking world with a visually immersive experience. According to Hollywood sources, this show will be the costliest web series by Amazon Prime Video. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere with its eight-episode season 1 on September 2, 2022.

The much-anticipated show is already renewed for future seasons and will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and multiple languages. The ensemble cast of ‘The Rings of Power’, created by JD Payne and Patrick McKay, includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Maxim Baldry, Ian Blackburn, Kip Chapman, Anthony Crum, Maxine Cunliffe, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry among others.
