In an industry where majestic-sounding sobriquets are the preserve of a select few, it's always noteworthy whenever a hero is given one.  It's the turn of Rebel Star Krishnam Raju to have a grand sobriquet to his credit.

The T Subbarami Reddy Lalitha Kalaparishad, which gives away awards every year to cine achievers, has decided to present this one of the most long-standing male leads of Telugu cinema in a year when Krishnam Raju has completed 40 years of being in the industry.

And the sobriquet is Nata Virat.  The veteran actor-cum-political biggie will be given on on March 7, the Maha Shiv Ratri day.

This has been a happening year for Krishnam Raju as he has officially finalized a project with Prabhas, to be directed by him.
