Lokesh Kanagaraj to Star in a Film Originally Written for Dhanush – Exciting Update!

In a surprising twist, Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to play the lead in a film that was originally written for actor Dhanush. The project, directed by Captain Miller fame Arun Matheswaran, was initially pitched to Dhanush, who had shown interest. However, due to his packed schedule, the role has now gone to Lokesh Kanagaraj.

For the past few days, rumors have been circulating that Lokesh would be making his debut as a full-fledged lead actor in Arun Matheswaran’s next film. Now, sources close to the director have confirmed that this film was indeed narrated to Dhanush first, but due to his ongoing commitments, Lokesh has stepped in.

Lokesh, currently in the post-production phase of Coolie starring Rajinikanth, is also gearing up to direct Kaithi 2 with Karthi. Reports suggest that he will begin shooting for Arun Matheswaran’s project only after wrapping up Kaithi 2.

Adding to the excitement, the film is said to be backed by a major production house, with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how Lokesh performs in front of the camera in what promises to be a gritty and intense role.
