Hot official update on Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Thalaivar 171’ from Lokesh Kanagaraj himself!

Superstar Rajinikanth started shooting for ‘Thalaivar 170’, directed by TJ Gnanavel last month. We already informed you that he will wrap up his portions for this film soon and move to ‘Thalaivar 171’ with director Lokesh Kanagaraj next year. Now, Loki himself shared an official update on the upcoming film.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s 171st film will be written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures with music scored by Anirudh. The director was present at the audio launch of Kalidas Jayaram’s ‘Aval Peyar Rajini’ yesterday. At the event, Loki said, “The script writing works for Thalaivar 171 starts next week. The shooting will commence in April 2024.”

As per sources, the movie is likely to hit the silver screens by January or Summer 2025. Lokesh Kanagaraj earlier confirmed that Thalaivar 171 will be an experimental film with a very huge star cast but the film is not going to be a part of his cinematic universe, LCU. Lokesh’s statement is now trending on social media.
