Another Lokesh Kanagaraj movie star joining Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’?

Ajith Kumar’s biggie ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ with director Magizh Thirumeni is one of the hottest projects in Tamil cinema now. Though the film was officially announced long back in May 2023, the shooting didn’t commence until recently. As per sources, the filming for Vidaamuyarchi began this month in the Azerbaijan country.

Reportedly, Ajith Kumar and Trisha are paired up in the film and they started shooting. Meanwhile, there were speculations that Huma Qureshi of ‘Kaala’ and ‘Valimai’ fame will be seen as the second heroine. But now, the news is that Regina Cassandra is roped in for the same role and Huma Qureshi is not a part of the movie. There is no official confirmation in this regard.

There are some reports denying the same. We have to wait for the team to break the silence. Meanwhile, Vidaamuyarchi is also said to star Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Das in pivotal roles. Produced by Lyca Productions, Anirudh is scoring music for this prestigious project with DOP by Nirav Shah and stunts by Supreme Sundar. The film might be released in 2024.
