Breaking: Lokesh Kanagaraj officially announces his next LCU film with a first look!

Lokesh Kanagaraj, one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated directors, known for his cinematic universe—the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU)—is all set to expand his vision further. The LCU, which has thrilled audiences with stylish action hits like “Kaithi”, “Vikram”, and “Leo”, will soon include “Kaithi 2”, reuniting the director with star Karthi.

But that’s not all; Lokesh recently confirmed an exciting new addition—a short film that reveals the origin story of his cinematic universe. Unveiling the first look of the project, titled “Chapter Zero”, Lokesh shared that this 10-minute short film will serve as a prelude to the origins of the LCU. The intriguing poster teases fans with the tagline: “1 Shot 2 Stories 24 Hours,” hinting at an intense, tightly woven narrative.

The announcement of “Chapter Zero” has already set the internet ablaze with excitement, as fans eagerly await this glimpse into the universe’s backstory. Currently, Lokesh is also directing “Coolie”, a standalone film featuring Superstar Rajinikanth, adding even more anticipation to his already ambitious slate of projects.
