Lockdown effect: Train tickets suspended till June 30

The Indian Railways on Thursday announced the cancellation of all tickets for regular passenger trains till June 30. Be it mail, express or suburban trains, all services stand suspended.

Those who have booked tickets will get a full refund, the Railways Ministry declared.

Shramik trains that are transporting stranded migrant workers, etc. will continue to run. Special passenger trains will also operate.

It may be noted that passenger trains have been cancelled since March 22.
