Link Aadhar with PAN before Sunday

It’s known that the Income Tax Department has made it mandatory for tax assessees to link Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar ID.  The deadline is nearing and it’s March 31.  

The linking of Aadhar and PAN is a must if you want to enjoy uninterrupted income tax services online.  It’s mandatory for the filing of IT returns.

Here is what you can do to link the two.

Visit the website incometaxindia.gov.in.  Click on the “Link Aadhaar” option seen on the left of the homepage.  Fill up the required details and expect approval within minutes.

Alternatively, you can do it via SMS.  Just send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the below format.  

UIDPAN<12-digit Aadhaar><10-digit PAN>
