Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio a fierce environmental activist has shelled out 5 million dollars (roughly 36 Crores of rupees) to local indigenous groups who are fighting to save the Amazon. He has shared “Aerial footage shows the world’s largest rainforest in flames. Brazil’s Amazon is known as “the planet’s lungs” for producing about 20 per cent of the world’s oxygen. This inferno threatens the rainforest ecosystem and also affects the entire globe.
