Leo: Prema O Ayudham breathes fresh air

Movie enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film “LEO,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is set to release on October 19, and the promotional efforts are in full swing. So far, two songs and a teaser have received a positive response from various quarters.

Recently, the makers released the third single, titled “Anbenum” in Tamil and “Prem Oh Ayudham” in Telugu. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Telugu lyrics written by Krishna Kanth. The song is beautifully sung by JV Sudhanshu and Priya Mali, featuring a melodious tune that depicts the love journey of the on-screen couple, Vijay and Trisha.

This marks their reunion after 15 years, and the chemistry between them is a highlight. Although the song is a romantic number portraying the love between the lead characters, the lyrics are filled with beautiful words that depict love and valor. JV Sudhanshu delivers the male perspective, while Priya Mali’s rendition as Trisha redefines the emotion of love. The song also features glimpses of Vijay’s life and family. 

Gautham Vasudev Menon appears to be playing a local police officer and a close friend of the family.”LEO” is produced by Seven Screen Studios and features a star-studded cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Mysskin, Arjun, and Gautam Vasudev Menon. The film’s story revolves around an unassuming chocolatier named Parthi in a small Himachal Pradesh town, who faces harassment from a mob that questions his true identity.

“LEO’ marks the third installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Principal photography began in Chennai in the same month, with occasional shooting schedules in picturesque Kashmir. This was then followed by another shooting schedule in the same location, concluding in mid-July. The film’s cinematography is expertly managed by Manoj Paramahamsa, and the editing is skillfully executed by Philomin Raj. Plans are on to celebrate the pre release event in a lavish manner in Dubai.
