Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday on June 22nd is going to be a much bigger trending topic on social media like never before. According to reliable sources a glimpse video of ‘Leo’ will be released at 12 am sharp and later that day the first look and title poster of ‘Thalapathy 68’ may be unveiled.
Now the biggest news on this front is that a special themed glimpse video of ‘Leo’ was conceived and shot by Lokesh Kanagaraj at a major studio in Chennai. Thalapathy Vijay and Anirudh apparently participated in it. The highlight of the video according to reports is that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has lent voiceover for the video.
If these reports turn out to be true then it will be more or less the first official confirmation of ‘Leo’ being a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe aka LCU. The ace director’s ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’ are part of the universe and he has promised that subsequent films will be made with the characters of Karthi, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Fahaadh Faasil and others. Already actors such as Karthi (Voice only in Vikram), Narain, Dheena, Arjun Das and Harish Uttaman appeared in both the films playing the same characters.
We have to wait and see if Kamal will speak as his character from ‘Vikram’ in the ‘Leo’ glimpse video and also as reported earlier will appear in the climax of the film. The much hyped gangster flick has music by Anirudh and stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, GVM, Sandy, Joju George and Priya Anand among others.
