Rs.1000 cr. film on Mahabharatha gets a Hollywood technician

It's known that Complete Actor Mohanlal is going to do an epic film that tells the story of Mahabharatham from Bheema's point of view. To be produced by a UAE-based businessman named BR Shetty, the mythological is by far the costliest film in India's history. Its budget is estimated at Rs. 1000 Cr.

The project, which is aiming for a 2020 release, is fast gaining momentum. It has been a while since Mohanlal has been training in fighting, etc in preparation for the role.

Latest, its director VA Shrikumar has met a Hollywood action director to discuss about the kind of action sequences that the film will have. "It was incredible to meet Hollywood's one of the top Action Directors, Lee Whittaker, for the initial discussions of 'Mahabharata'," he has said.

"An action packed 'Mahabharata' will see the mastery of Lee Whittaker, one of the top stunt performers in the industry with two decades of elite work on some of Hollywoods biggest blockbuster films. Some of his renowned works include 'X-Men Apocalypse', 'Into the Storm', 'Fast Five', 'Live Free or Die Hard', 'Jurassic Park 3', 'Pearl Harbor', among others," the director has said.
