Actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna today participated in Nara Lokesh's Yuva Galam in Kuppam. Unfortunately, he suffered a massive heart attack during the Yatra.

At first, it was believed that the actor merely fainted. But those at the venue knew that it was a serious health issue. In 15 minutes or so, after he was rushed to a nearby hospital, clarity emerged. It was a massive heart attack that he suffered. And a stent placement was done to help improve his condition.

Nandamuri Balakrishna informed the media that Blood Pressure was stable. Other parameters measured through a urine test, among others, were also stable.

"We are shifting him to Bengaluru for better ICU care. His condition is stable, thanks to God's grace, the blessings of his grandparents, the strength of his wife's Mangalyam, and the love of his fans," the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor said, adding that there was a 90% left artery blockage due to which the heart attack was massive.

An hour after Balayya provided an update, it was revealed that Taraka Ratna was not doing well on the internal bleeding front.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu reportedly reached out to Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai with a request that a green corridor is arranged so that the patient can be taken to a multi-specialty hospital in time.
