Lady Superstar Nayanthara is as busy as ever starring in a mix of female-centric films and big-budget star vehicles. She is currently awaiting her next 'Netrikann' co-produced by her and her beau Vignesh Shivan which will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from August 13th.

Nayanthara has had a strict policy of not appearing for any promotional activities of her films and has seldom broken it. She last did promotions on television in 2013 for Atlee's 'Raja Rani' costarring Arya, Jai, and Nazriya Nazim. She only made theater visits for 'Aramm' directed by Gopi Nainar.

After several years Nayan has agreed to appear on television for a special show titled 'Lady Superstar Nayanthara' which will be hosted by DD and telecast on Vijay TV at 10.30 am on Sunday the 15th of August.

The promo shows Nayanthara in all her beauty and grace and the big surprise is that she willingly answers questions on her romantic partner Vignesh Shivan and much more. The Lady Superstar fans are in for a huge treat after many years to catch their icon up close and personal on the telly tube.

'Netrikann' the official remake of the Korean film 'Blind' is directed by Milind Rau and stars Nayanthara, Ajmal, Manikandan, and Sharan Shakti. Music is by Girrish Gopalakrishnan, cinematography by R.D. Rajasekhar, and production by Rowdy Pictures and Kross Pictures.
