KTR opens up about Prime Ministerial ‘ambitions’

KT Rama Rao has been on a roll, clinching investment deals by impressing companies like Amazon and many more. Recently, he was in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum. There, he was interviewed by two national media houses. The interviews were filled with the TRS leader’s utterances against the Modi-led Centre and its policies. Regardless of what the question was, the Telangana Minister invoked the answers he had prepared. He didn’t waste his homework.

Bowled over by his oratory and anti-Modi rants, a journalist commented that KTR spoke with due candour and courtesy. She also wondered if we are looking at a future Prime Minister of India. This was so humble an assessment about a politician who is yet to become the Chief Minister of his State. 

Be that as it may, the good news is that KTR has no PM ambitions. He himself said that he doesn’t harbour such “illusions”. 

One hopes KTR continues to give interviews to national media houses, though.
