Director Krish Jagarlamudi has contracted COVID-19. The 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' maker reportedly underwent a test earlier today because he is scheduled to resume the shoot of his movie with Pawan Kalyan. Now that the result came back negative, the 'Vedam' director has isolated himself at his residence in Hyderabad. The shoot seems to have been postponed indefinitely.
Krish is asymptomatic. He was recently in the news for completing the shoot of his movie with Rakul Preet Singh and Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej in less than 40 days. The film's release date is yet to be announced. Weeks after the wrapping up of shoot of the film, Rakul too tested positive in December. However, she recovered from the virus in just seven days. The production works of the untitled flick went on smoothly during the peak of the pandemic.
Krish will now wait out for Power Star's film shoot. It is titled 'Virupaksha' and will release in the second half of this year. The Jana Sena chief recently completed his work on 'Vakeel Saab' (barring dubbing portions).
