Koratala’s heroes: Touching heroine’s feet since 2013

If Puri Jagannadh's heroes invariably shout, either playfully or sentimentally, at their sweethearts, Koratala Shiva's charmers are imbibing a quirk of their own.  Maybe, it's not really a quirk but a way of winning over the hearts of female audiences.

Prabhas and Mahesh Babu did it.  In Mirchi, Prabhas applied colour on Anushka's toenails.  The charm of it couldn't be missed.  The audiences loved it because a made-for-each-other pair were most romantic in that act.  Then in Srimanthudu, no less a superstar than Mahesh Babu stylishly pulled Shruti Haasan's right leg as if to put it in his lap.  That was warmth for sure. It impressed all and offended none.

This has made us wonder if Koratala did that deliberately in Srimanthudu especially after the Mirchi moment was loved by all.  Will he do it in his third?  It will be interesting to see whether NTR will do a Prabhas or a Mahesh in Janatha Garage.  It will be interesting to see whether it will be Samantha or Nithya Menon who will be NTR's Anushka/Shruti.  If you find it in the trailer, conclude that the heroine having her feet touched romantically by NTR is the main heroine of the August 12 release!
