Komalee Prasad, who was earlier this year seen in the Sankranthi release 'Rowdy Boys' and 'Sebastian PC 524', has revealed that she was in a state of depression after her father passed away a few years back. The 'Napolean' actress developed unhealthy habits and started eating biryanis et al in the name of coping with depression. She put on loads of weight and, before she knew it, she was weighing 79 kilos.
"I was one year into losing my dad and there was zero motivation to do anything. As per family and society, I was clearly out of hands," Komalee wrote on Instagram, adding that she was hurt when someone addressed her as an aunty when she was all of 21.
This is when the actress decided to contact the celebrity fitness trainer Antony Raj, who motivated her to do the right things. "He made sure I kept walking for the next four years. Fighting depression, food habits, and lifestyle is one thing, and landing into a ligament tear is another. Today, in 2022, I weigh 25 kilos lesser than what I used to," Komalee added, thanking also the fitness consultant Krishna Chaitanya Chematuri. "I no longer starve. I lift, I squat and I eat," she wrote.
The 'Napolean' and 'Anukunnadi Okkati Ayyindhi Okati' actress will be seen in 'Sasivadane' and 'HIT 2' soon.
