'KGF 2' is going great guns all over. The Yash-starrer earned a share of Rs 9.68 Cr on Thursday, which was its Day One, in Nizam. This is far less than what 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' made. But it is the Top 5 figure in the history of Nizam BO.
The first four slots are occupied by straight Telugu films. The Rajamouli-Jr NTR-Ram Charan movie stands at Rs 23.35 Cr, followed by Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak' (Rs 11.85 Cr). The third slot is occupied by Allu Arjun's 2021 hit 'Pushpa: The Rise', which made Rs 11.44 Cr. Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' made Rs 10.80 Cr.
And now, the Prashanth Neel-directed 'KGF 2' has made Rs 9.68 Cr. This is the only dubbed movie to enter the Top 5 league.
Importantly, these figures have come in the pandemic era.
Figures for the rest of the markets are coming in slowly. They will be collated as the day progresses. Footfalls are said to be very encouraging on Day Two.
