Kelly clarkson opens up about weightloss with help of ozempic

Kelly Clarkson has recently revealed her weight loss journey, admitting to succumbing to a Type II diabetes weight-loss drug, Mounjaro, to help in the transformation. On an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she disclosed to viewers and the public that she was on medication after noticing troubling changes in her blood work.

Although Clarkson made it clear that she didn’t take the celebrity-loved medication Ozempic, she did not give more details about her prescription. She explained that she hesitated at first due to her current thyroid complications and fear of using the medication. However, after second thoughts, she decided to join the treatment to help her body with the breakdown of sugar.

Reflecting back on the weight loss journey, Clarkson shared that her realization of her weight and body image came through video when she was surprised at her appearance. She debunked assumptions about her emotional state, affirming that she was content even at her heaviest.

This candid discussion of the singer’s has reached many, although one of the earlier ones to talk about her weight loss journey was Whoopi Goldberg, who involved Mounjaro. Both Clarkson and Goldberg stressed out the slow nature of their transformations.

Although Clarkson didn’t say how much weight she lost, reports indicate a pretty staggering 60-pound weight reduction. Although most buzz was about her weight loss thanks to taking Ozempic, she credited her success to a balanced approach that involved diet, exercise, and sticking to medical advice. 

Clarkson’s routine is consistent with eating a protein-rich diet and, in general, physical activity that includes walking the streets of New York City, as well as added features such as infrared saunas and cold plunges. She also spoke about getting a pre-diabetes diagnosis, further underscoring the importance of her health journey.
