Set to premiere in August, actress Keerthy Suresh's "Raghu Thatha" has songs released from Chennai recently. Keerthy Suresh among others from the cast and crew of the movie participated in the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Keerthy expressed her first reservations about assuming the part in "Raghu Thatha." She had questions about whether the character suited her, but she gave the director credit for his will to have her perform the part.
Keerthy also answered a typical question she had about her participation in the movie, particularly following her part in the Hindi film "Baby John." Many inquired as to whether "Raghu Thatha" was an anti-Hindi film. She noted that although the movie opposes several kinds of tyranny, especially directed against women, it is not entirely anti-Hindi. Rather, she said it was a cleverly written humorous interpretation of important events, created by the filmmaker.
Keerthy Suresh stars in "Raghu Thatha," with MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, and Ravindra Vijay in the supporting cast. Suman Kumar directs the movie, which Sean Roldan wrote for.
Keerthy felt viewers would value the humor and message of the movie. As the release date approaches, the excitement for "Raghu Thatha" is growing since it promises an interesting fusion of comedy and social satire.
