Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin teaser released – haunting story of a mother!

National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to have a release next week, as her thriller Penguin directed by debutant Eashvar Karthic releases on Amazon prime video on June 19. The movie is produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench films and Passion Studios.

The teaser of the movie, released today begins with the visuals set in a hilly locale, and a mystery man carrying an umbrella, walking away with a kid. The scenes that follow, show Keerthy Suresh with a terrified face looking out for her missing child, a search operation in a lake, and ends with the visuals of the mystery man wearing a Charlie Chaplin look slashing a body brutally.

The scary, tension building visuals captured by Karthik Palani and the haunting background score by Santhosh Narayanan, increase the expectations on the thriller, and debutant Eashvar Karthic has delivered an interesting teaser cut that promises a haunting story of a mother. The quote “Behind all your stories, there’s a mother’s story. Because hers is where yours begins”, gives a strong indication of horrible incidents in Keerthy Suresh’s life in the past that continues to trouble her in the present, the mystery man’s connect with Keerthy and whether the mother is able to protect her child from the demon, is what we’re set to witness on Amazon prime on June 19. The trailer of Penguin will be out on June 11.
