Speaking at a public rally, KCR has said that nobody was killed in the Balakot airstrikes. The IAF carried out surgical strikes on February 26.
“The BJP is claiming that 300 terrorists were eliminated. Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Masood Azhar has clearly said that not even an ant was hurt. The party wants to seek people’s votes on the basis of the fake strikes,” the Telangana CM told the crowd.
KCR’s irresponsible comments have led to severe trolling by sections of social media users. “So, does KCR believe a terrorist’s words and not the words of the country’s PM and the Indian Air Force?” asks a Twitter user.
KCR would do well to know that Pakistan literally panicked for about 30 days after the attack. It kept its air space inaccessible, fearing another strike. To this day, Pakistan has not taken the international media to the spot of the airstrikes. Even satellite imagery confirms that IAF’s jets launched Spice bombs into the Balakot’s terrorist launch pads.
