I consider Verghese a God: Rajamouli

It’s known that SS Rajamouli is in Gujarat for the making of ‘RRR’.  NTR and Ram Charan are in Baroda.  

The ‘Baahubali’ director has visited the Amul headquarters in the State.  Taking to Twitter, the acclaimed filmmaker paid a rich tribute to the legendary Verghese Kurien.  “The father of the White Revolution. The man who reshaped India from a milk-deficient nation to the world leader in milk production. He who transformed the lives of millions of people.  I consider Dr. Verghese Kurien a God and today I made my pilgrimage to his temple,” Rajamouli said.

Known as the ‘Milkman of India’, Verghese pioneered the milk cooperatives model, benefitting millions of farmers for many decades.
