Kavin is a rising star in the Tamil industry. After delivering consecutive hits with ‘Lift’ and ‘Dada’, he is now playing the lead in Anirudh’s music in a film directed by choreographer-actor Sathish. Elan reunited with his debut film hero, Harish Kalyan, for his second film ‘Star’ last year. But the project didn’t take off after the release of a few posters. Sources tell us that Kavin is replacing Harish Kalyan in ‘Star’. He has already completed more than two weeks of shooting for this project. The team is in talks with Ivana and Divya Bharathi for the female lead role.

Director Elan is collaborating with the little maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja again in Star after the chartbuster Pyaar Prema Kadhal. On the other hand, Elan was in talks with Dhanush for a massive project produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It is said that Dhanush’s movie with Elan may go on the floors later after the actor completes his ongoing biggies.
