Actor Kavin got married to his longtime girlfriend Monicka yesterday, August 20th. The couple who have known each other for decades fell in love a few years back and took the plunge in the presence of family and friends. The wedding photos shared by Kavin himself on social media went viral instantly.

Meanwhile the celebrity guests who graced the Kavin-Monicka wedding include directors Mari Selvaraj, Vignesh Shivan and 'Doctor' fame actress Priyanka Arul Mohan. 'Jailer' director Nelson Dilipkumar who is a close friend and mentor of Kavin attended the wedding along with his wife Monisha and son. A pic of these celebs at the luncheon hosted by the newly wed couple has gone viral.

Kavin who found success with his last two films 'Lift' and 'DaDa' is currently acting as hero in 'Star' directed by Elan and an untitled film directed by dance master turned actor Sathish Krishnan.
