‘Karthikeya 2’: Nikhil’s movie locks release date

‘Karthikeya 2’, the action thriller, has locked its release date. Starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead, the film will hit the screens on July 22.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the ‘Arjun Suravaram’ actor tweeted, “Nannu Andaru Adiga Prashna … Karthikeya-2 Release Eppudu Ani. JULY 22 na Theatres Lo Cinema Vidudala… Date Locked.” Starring Bollywood artist Anupam Kher, who was recently seen in ‘The Kashmir Files’ (Hindi), the big-budget entertainer is a faithful sequel to ‘Karthikeya’.

It’s hinted that producers Abhishek Aggarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad have made the film as a rich-looking semi-actioner as well. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film boasts high-octane action blocks.

Extensive post-production works have also been on. There are, in total, 3000 CGI and VFX shots in the movie. People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts are producing the movie. Karthik Ghattamaneni is its cinematographer, while Kaala Bhairava is its music director. Swathi Reddy has a key role.
