Karthi's spy thriller 'Sardar' stormed the silver screens on October 21 as a Diwali treat to the fans. The film, directed by PS Mithran, was a huge hit in theaters and collected more than Rs 100 crore worldwide. Prince Pictures gifted a car to the director and announced the movie's sequel earlier.

Now, the latest hot update is that the movie got an official OTT release date. Sardar is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil from November 18. The production house launched a new promo for the film's digital release featuring Karthi. The actor played two distinct roles in Sardar as a police inspector and a top secret spy.

The movie stars Karthi in a dual role with Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Panday, Laila, Rithvik, Munishkanth, Ashwin Kumar and Yugi Sethu in prominent roles. The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar with cinematography by George C Williams and editing by Ruben.
