Karthi to start a new film with a highly acclaimed director on this date? – Deets inside

Karthi is a leading versatile actor who’s famous for striking gold with every filmmaker he works with. The charming hero will be reprising his highly acclaimed ‘Vanthiyathevan’ role in director Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, which is slated to debut on the silver screens on April 28. 

Currently, Karthi is shooting for ‘Japan’ directed by Raju Murugan. It is one of the most talked-about films in his career. Meanwhile, the actor is all set to kickstart a new movie with director Nalan Kumarasamy next. As per the latest reports, Karthi and Nalan Kumarasamy’s untitled project will go on the floors on March 1, bankrolled by Studio Green. 

Santhosh Narayanan is most likely to serve as the music composer for the venture. We hear that the lead actress and music director will be finalized by next week. Also, Karthi has signed a film with director Premkumar (96 fame) and Suriya & Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment. This will commence after the completion of his movie with Nalan Kumarasamy.
