Karthi’s confirmation about Mani Ratnam film

After the success of 'O Kadhal Kanmani' there have been so many speculations doing rounds with different combination of lead actors for ace director Mani Ratnam's next. But one name that found a mention in all the speculations is actor Karthi.

As per the latest information, Karthi who is presently wrapping up 'Thozha' and acting in 'Kashamora' is touted to play the male lead role in a film to be directed by Mani Ratnam. Sai Pallavi of 'Premam' fame is expected to make her Kollywood debut playing the female lead in this film.

Now Karthi has confirmed that he is indeed acting in a film to be directed by the legendary filmmaker. He rubbished the claims that he will be playing dual roles in the film as mere rumors and confirmed that he will playing only a single character. He said he can not reveal any other details about the film as it has to officially come from Mani Ratnam's stable.

It is worth recalling that Karthi worked as an AD to Mani Ratnam in 'Aaytha Ezhuthu' that had his elder brother Suriya as one of the leads.
