Whoa! ‘Karthi 27’ officially announced by legendary cinematographer suddenly

Karthi is currently one of the leading heroes in Tamil cinema, whose films serve as a big break in his directors’ careers. Now, he is busy filming for his 25th film ‘Japan’ by Raju Murugan and his untitled 26th film by Nalan Kumarasamy. The latest hot news is that an unexpected official announcement on ‘Karthi 27’ was made today.

Legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram took to his Twitter page to share that he is the DOP of Karthi’s new movie co-starring Aravin Swamy under ’96’ fame Premkumar’s direction. Tentatively called ‘Karthi 27’, this project will be bankrolled by Suriya-Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment with music composed by Govind Vasantha. He added that the dates will be announced soon by the production house.

This news is now going viral on social media. On the work front, Karthi’s milestone 25th flick, ‘Japan’, is preparing for a Diwali 2023 release. Apart from ‘Karthi 26’ and ‘Karthi 27’, he has ‘Sardar 2’ and ‘Kaithi 2’ with directors PS Mithran and Lokesh Kanagaraj respectively. Both sequel projects will go on the floors in 2024.
